Blog- Red Crush

I have to say, I’m sort in crazy-love with red doors! They always make me smile. There is something so special about seeing one red front door in a sea beige, black or other safer colours. Although it seems quite risky it’s actually a very old trend seen all over the world, even thought to bring good fortune to the home.

This red door leads the way into this chic living room, it’s classically paired with (what looks to be vintage) brass hardware; a perfect combination!

This door from House and Home is perfect inside and out, paired with black hardware, simple yet refined.

These doors are given much more weight by being painted red with the white siding. It complements the glass nicely and gives a welcoming yet rustic appeal paired with bronze hardware.

The cedar shakes and white trim give this home a country feel, the addition of the red door gives a sense of whimsy and adds perfectly to its charm.

Special thanks to Inspired Design, House and Home, Pottery Barn and Color in Design.
